We have been graciously invited to the Long Beach home of John Thomas, the President of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles, Resources Advisor for the Queen Mary, and author of Long Beach Art Deco. John will be hosting drinks and appetizers in his home filled with Art Deco treasures, which will be a nice continuation of our Art Deco morning aboard the Queen Mary. John will talk about his preservation work in Los Angeles and Long Beach, and he’ll treat us to some behind-the-scenes stories of his long career in preserving the Southland’s Art Deco history and talk about his collections.
