This year promises to be an exciting one as I start to plan four great tours over the next three seasons.

I had hoped to do a Hearst Castle tour in January, but I’ve had to delay that for sometime in the spring so that we will have access to the castle at night. My partner-in-crime and fellow tour leader will be the incomparable Bret Parsons.  And the lovely Victoria Kastner, author of three books on Hearst Castle, will be joining us!

In June it’s off to historic Virginia, including Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s home, and Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home.

September will find us in the fabulous City of Lights, Paris, which, as you know, is a moveable feast for anyone, but particularly for design and art lovers.

And later in the year you can jazz up your life by heading with me to New Orleans. I’m thrilled that Darrell Schmitt, Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), will be my co-tour leader to the Crescent City as we make the rounds of historic homes in and around the city.

And don’t forget that I have teamed with Agraria San Francisco home fragrances to offer you some special tours of their deliciously scented facilities in Los Angeles.

Feel free to email me at eschapa@adelphia.net or visit my website for updates on tours, lectures, blogs and more.  I look forward to having you join me!
