Happy holidays, everyone! And may 2016 be designed for perfection!

Next year will be as busy as – maybe busier than – 2015 has been, with my Jan. 8 lecture, “Wait, It Gets Weirder: Victorian Art & Culture,” kicking things off.  This is my Second Friday of the Month lecture series sponsored through my nonprofit, The Institute of Good Design.

The other lecture series, titled “Palaces, Princes & Paramours,” is sponsored by Santa Monica College Community Education and will begin Jan. 23 for three consecutive Saturdays. Both lecture series are held at SMC.

I’ll be offering lots of day tours around Southern California again this year through my Meetup group. But I’m also organizing some great trips farther afield, including Fallingwater in Pennsylvania this June and – just added – Richmond, Virginia in April.

The Virginia trip will be April 13-17 and will include Colonial Williamsburg, antiquing in Fredericksburg, and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.

Please contact me for more information at EleanorSchrader@roadrunner.com or, better still, sign up for my Architecture, Interior Design & Decorative Arts Meetup Group – and you get automatic notification of this and all my tours.

Warmest wishes for a happy holiday season,
