Join us for a special evening double-feature premiere film event at the Lovell Health House, featuring Elissa Brown’s award-winning film “Windshield: A Vanished Vision”, Richard Neutra’s modernist residence on Fishers Island, New York. A second film will feature Betty Topper, doyenne of the Lovell Health House, conducting a 2010 behind-the-scenes tour of her home. Ms. Brown, the filmmaker and granddaughter of the owners of Windshield, will introduce her film. Following the screenings, there will be a discussion and question and answer session with Ms. Brown, joined by noted Hollywood film composer Chad Fischer, who scored the film, and Lovell Health House owner Ken Topper.
Appetizers and beverages will be served. A tour by the Lovell Health House preservationist, Josh Gorrell, will be conducted before the screenings.
Only cell phone cameras are permitted. All other cameras or motion cameras (i.e., video, digital, etc.) are not permitted.
YOU MUST TAKE A RIDESHARE TO THE HOUSE, located at 4616 Dundee Drive, Los Angeles 90027. NO STREET PARKING.
Flat shoes only. No smoking or vaping. No backpacks.
