Street Scene in San Miguel de Allende

Street Scene in San Miguel de Allende

My dear friend Philip Gill, a wonderfully talented designer and Latin America expert, and I are planning a delicious architecture and art tour next April of the magical towns of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato in Mexico. Please join us!

Recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, San Miguel de Allende is known for its well-preserved Colonial and Spanish architecture. It is also known for its art, galleries, quaint shops, dining and much more.

Guanajuato is equally charming and culturally rich. With its narrow and winding streets, Guanajuato has an historic center with numerous small plazas and colonial-era mansions, churches and civil constructions of pink or green sandstone. It is also home to the Festival Internacional Cervantino, which invites artists and performers from all over the world as well as Mexico.

Details are still being worked out, but we are targeting a week-long trip around the middle of April. Stay tuned for more details, but feel free to contact me at eleanorschrader@roadrunner.com if you have questions.
