The Windy City will come alive in a unique way in my upcoming architecture and art tour that will include Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio, the iconic Farnsworth House, a Chicago River evening architecture cruise, and the famed Chicago Art Institute.

My tour co-leader is Christopher Sorensen, an award-winning L.A. architect and native Chicagoan. The Labor Day tour will be Sept. 2-7.

This tour will be a veritable feast of stunning examples of a wide range of architectural styles. We’ll get an insider’s view into the wealth of architecture and art in this wonderful city.

Other stops on the tour will include Millennium Park; Driehaus Museum with its fascinating view of one of the few remaining examples of the palatial homes erected by the wealthy of America’s Gilded Age; the Chicago Architecture Foundation; Hancock Tower; and Chicago History Museum.

The cost of the tour is $2,175 double occupancy and $2,750 single occupancy, which will include hotel, ground transportation, many meals, and entrance to all sites and museums. There will also be time allotted for shopping or exploring on one’s own.
